The Coliseum was famously used for gladiator battles, as well as executions, animal hunts and drama performances. The ruins are an extremely popular tourist attraction and are a must-see if you are in Rome.

Madame Tussauds Wax Museum is a great attraction to visit if you are traveling to Las Vegas with children. Both children and adults enjoy interacting with the wax figures. Château d'Amboise is a nice first stop on a historic view of Loire Valley

First built in the 11th century, Château d’Amboise is a great option for a historic tour of Loire Valley. Used as a fort in the Gallo-Roman times, Charles VII seized the castle in 1434 and Charles VIII rebuilt it in 1492 in a late Gothic flamboyant style. Charles VIII died in the castle he rebuilt, after hitting his head against a low door lintel.
