In the three months I spent in Europe, my favorite way to travel was by train.

The journey features breathtaking views of the Alps, canyons and farmlands. My favorite part of the train ride was the beautiful lakes in the area.
The best part of the train ride is the wonderful destinations that bookend the trip. Both Vienna and Interlaken are great places to visit. Vienna is a beautiful cultural experience while Interlaken features some of the best landscapes in the world, especially in the nearby Matterhorn.
